UGLY GIN is our unapologetically hand-made craft gin. We stripped away the fancy packaging, the glossy marketing, the elaborate displays and all the other stuff that somehow finds its way onto the price tag.
Because we'd rather put that money into what's inside the bottle.
The result? Properly good gin at a properly good price.

🍊 GRAPEFRUIT & GOJI BERRY
Juicy. Zesty. Jammy.
A citrus-forward gin packed with fresh grapefruit and intriguing goji berries. Bright and juicy with a deliciously jammy character, it's incredibly easy to drink and works just as well in a simple G&T as it does in a cocktail.
Best served: With a good tonic and a generous wedge of grapefruit. Or get creative.
🔥 BURNT ORANGE & SAGE
Smoky. Savoury. Unexpected.
We cut oranges in half and burn them over a Rooikrans fire, caramelising the flesh before smoking them for another hour. Those smoky oranges then go into the pot still with fresh sage and the rest of our botanicals.
The result is a beautifully smoky, aromatic gin with a savoury edge that was made for cocktails.
Best served: In a cocktail. Negroni, Gimlet, G&T — whatever you fancy.

UGLY GIN is an authentically hand-made craft gin stripped of all the non-essentials in an effort to provide you, the customer, with an amazing gin that you can enjoy without paying for the packaging, marketing, elaborate in-store display and glitter. Because whether we like it or not, you, the customer ends up paying for all of that.
Whats inside?
We cut oranges in half and burn them over a Rooikrans fire to caramalise the flesh before smoking them for another hour. These smoky beauties are then added to the pot still along with fresh sage and all the other botanicals which make this Ugly Gin a magical, smoky and delicious gin for cocktails!
